Van de Velde Packaging Group has appointed Yannik Van den Eynde as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), effective immediately. The appointment comes as the company continues to scale its international operations in fibre-based packaging solutions and premium packaging machinery.
In his new role, Van den Eynde will be responsible for leading the group’s human resources strategy, with a focus on leadership development, talent management, workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness. He will work closely with the executive leadership team to align people initiatives with business priorities across manufacturing and operational environments.
The appointment reflects broader shifts across the manufacturing and packaging sectors, where HR leadership is increasingly centered on capability building, workforce transformation, and sustaining performance across complex, asset-intensive operations. As CHRO, Van den Eynde will play a key role in supporting the company’s long-term growth ambitions while ensuring continuity and operational discipline.
Van den Eynde brings extensive experience across corporate HR leadership, consulting, and transformation-led roles. He most recently served as HR Director at N-ALLO, part of the ENGIE Group, where he spent nearly four years overseeing HR operations in a multi-site Belgian environment. His responsibilities included workforce leadership, stakeholder engagement, resource planning, HR reporting, people development, and union relations. In addition, he has worked as Senior HR Lead at ENGIE Impact on a freelance basis, providing senior-level HR support through project-based engagements. Earlier in his career, Van den Eynde held HR leadership roles at organizations including Wolters Kluwer and Generali Belgium.
With this appointment, Van de Velde Packaging Group reinforces its focus on building strong leadership capability and resilient people systems to support its evolving operational and strategic needs.
