    Cheryl Martin, the in-question employee of Magic Leap has been named in a complaint, accusing her of screening hiring rounds leading to misappropriations worth $1 million. Both Martin & the Hampton Group, the recruiting firm she supposedly colluded with, have refused to comment on the matter. Magic Leap was recently in the news for raising their Series D round worth $502 million.

    It did, as per ex-employee Loretta Lee who has officially filed a lawsuit against Google on the same grounds. Lee, who was fired in 2016 for ‘poor-performance’, accredits the tag to her refusal to budge. She could draw inspiration from the fact that she’s not alone, however. Just last month, Tim Chevalier, another ex-employee, filed a case alleging the company of wrongful termination, discrimination & harassment.

    Mark Cuban, the proprietor of the Dallas Mavericks, recently denied allegations that the workplace at the professional basketball team was hostile towards women. This followed after Sports Illustrated published reports of a work environment severely hostile towards women staff, going far enough to describe a workplace rife with misogyny and sexually predatory practices. Mark Cuban, a billionaire who is also very popular for his role in reality TV show Shark Tank. Cuban says he is on a cleanup campaign at the Dallas Mavs workplace and has begun terminating staff with immediate effect.

The root cause has been cited with KFC’s new delivery partner DHL which in-turn states “operational issues” as being the bottleneck. Presently functional KFC units have decided to offer revised, cut-shorted menus along with reduced open-hours.
