MetLife New York gets Shurawl Sibblies as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and Executive Vice President, effective this August 2024. Sibblies will report directly to Michel Khalaf, President and CEO of MetLife, and will become a member of MetLife's executive leadership team.
Sibblies comes to MetLife from American Express, where she served as Executive Vice President and Colleague Strategic Partner. Before her tenure at American Express, which began in 2020, Sibblies held the position of Senior Vice President and Human Resources Business Partner at MetLife from 2012 to 2019.

Shurawl Sibblies has led high-performing global teams at top Fortune 100 companies, including American Express, TIAA, Citigroup, and Hewlett-Packard. At American Express, she shaped talent and leadership strategies across key business units. During her tenure at MetLife before joining American Express, she partnered with U.S. business and investment teams as Senior Vice President.
