Mark became part of Soft Robotics as its inaugural Chief Technology Officer in 2016 and, after five years, transitioned to the role of Chief Operating Officer. In 2024, he was further appointed as the President and CEO of Soft Robotics. Earlier in his career, Mark had also collaborated with Joseph F. Engelberger, renowned globally as the "Father of Robotics," to extend the scope of robotics beyond factory applications and into service industries.
Before his tenure at Soft Robotics, Mark was the Senior Vice President of Engineering and Product Development at BionX Medical Technologies and accumulated over 15 years of experience at iRobot Corporation.
