Microland has named Vithal Acharya as its Chief Human Resources Officer, reinforcing the company’s focus on building workforce capabilities aligned with AI-led infrastructure services and intelligent automation.
Based at the company’s Bengaluru headquarters, Acharya will report to Sam Mathew and lead Microland’s global people strategy as the organization accelerates its AI-first transformation and expands zero-touch operational capabilities. Acharya’s mandate will include workforce transformation, leadership development, and cultural evolution initiatives aimed at building an AI-literate organization capable of supporting Microland’s intelligent AIOps platform and global delivery operations across more than 100 countries.

Acharya brings more than 25 years of HR leadership experience spanning global enterprises and technology-driven organizations. His career includes leadership positions at GE, HCLTech, and Ola, where he worked across areas including IT services, infrastructure, mobility, and industrial sectors.
An alumnus of XLRI Jamshedpur, Acharya has led people transformation initiatives, organizational redesign efforts, and leadership programs during periods of large-scale business evolution.
